Roller Track Type RBB
The Rollerbed
Systems RBB pneumatic ball track is specifically designed to provide
omni-directional movement with the added safety of being retractable when
not in use. The RBB Ball track is based on a proven roller track design with
a stainless steel ball units used in place of the rollers.
The RBB ball
track allows the easiest of sideways or diagonal shift of air cargo pallets.
The track is often placed at the rear of a trailer to make precise
positioning and indexing simpler and safer for the operator. Ball track placed on pallet
loading docks can be left retracted when not in use, allowing safe pedestrian
and vehicular traffic over it. Static, or permanently raised ball track is available for those
areas which do not need to be concerned about traffic flow over it.
Ball track
can also be used at machine stations where precise positioning of heavy
tooling or product is needed. When the ball track is used in conjunction
with the Rollerbed Systems Powered Cargo Roller, controlled and unsupervised
movement of the product or tooling can be carried out by PLC
